- Volprivé uses merino wool to ensure comfort and longevity.
- Its short circuit values materials and local know-how.
- Its locally designed products follow and ensure the comfort of its customers all over the world!
Offering a product that enhances the comfort of its clientele is the goal of Volprivé! By providing sleep masks, travel pillows, and other accessories, this company aims to provide ease that can accompany its customers anywhere in the world.
In addition to promoting unmatched well-being, Volprivé's products also respect the environmental values of its founder, Marie-Claude Roulier. Its just-in-time production system reduces inventory and controls generated waste. Whenever possible, fabric scraps are reused to make other products under the brand.
The memory foam in the pillows and the wool knits are entirely manufactured in Montreal. The fabric sublimation of its masks, as well as the design and production of the products, are mainly carried out in Quebec. In addition to reducing its environmental footprint with this short supply chain, Volprivé benefits from quick and easy communication with its suppliers.
Merino wool, its fiber of choice, is a biodegradable natural fiber. Treated ecologically, a knit made from this fiber is known for its softness and durability. Although its raw materials come from Australia (sheep's wool) and are dyed in Italy, Volprivé prioritizes the use of this textile because its attributes ensure a durable and comfortable product.
Volprivé aims to improve its environmental practices, particularly in its search for local suppliers and subcontractors to ensure a short supply chain. Only one product makes an exception to its local production: its ''ses sacs au sec 1''. Unfortunately, the machinery to produce this product is not available in Quebec.
With the goal of promoting local materials and craftsmanship, Volprivé aims to expand its market internationally. With the upcoming creation of new products, we can expect novelty from Volprivé... perhaps entirely Quebec-made beach towels? Stay tuned!
